Avoca House

By far my favorite stay, from the heartwarming welcome, the recommendations for local sites and the fabulous breakfast; Kathleen and Peter delivered superb accommodations. Spotless room, delicious scones to start off the breakfast that was above and beyond. I highly recommend staying at the Avoca House, I will return and I will tell my friends!

We were welcomed very heartfully and got excellent advices to visit the city of Galway and going out for dinner. The room was very tidy and cosy, although close to major road placed, Avoca House is a quiet place to sleep, We enjoyed the breakfast very much, plenty and tasty and white range of goods to choose from.

Kathleen is an exceptional host. She greeted us warmly and gave us excellent information for getting around Galway. The bus route is close and convenient, making access to the city very easy. She gave us recommendations for places to go for dinner and drinks that were spot on. Their location is convenient if you need to access the docks for the ferry as well. The breakfast was stellar. We would gladly stay her again.

The best B&B of 9 we stayed in!! We enjoyed our 2 night stay very much: Kathleen was extremely helpful & spent time to show us how to take the bus( very close by) to Eyre Square) etc. We felt very welcomed from the first minute we arrived. What a beautiful breakfast spread, with homemade scones & brown bread & a beautiful menu to choose from, in a room with lots of light! Peter made the best French toast for me & EVERYTHING was stellar! You can tell they love what they do! Thank you, thank you!

We enjoyed our short stay very much: Kathleen was extremely helpful giving us all kind of tips and we felt very welcomed from the first minute we arrived. The bus stop to get into the city is very close and was a good option to get to Galway. Plenty of food for breakfast ! Thanks a lot for the pleasant stay!
