A family-run bed and breakfast welcoming guests since 1994, Brandon View House is a comfy hideaway in leafy County Kilkenny. Nestled in picturesque countryside 6km from Graiguenamanagh, guests can enjoy delicious breakfasts of local produce before taking on a day’s hill walking, golf, fishing or a cycle on the popular River Barrow Track. Guests are given a warm Irish welcome and refreshments on arrival from host Helen Doyle.

How to get here

From Graiguenamanagh take St. Mullins Road to Glynn, turn left on R729 towards Borris. Continue for 500m. The house is on your right-hand side.

Our stay at Brandon House was wonderful. The room was so comfortable and clean. Helen was kind and made us a delicious breakfast in a beautiful sunroom. I would love to return and spend more time in this area of Ireland.

We had a very nice stay at Brandon View House. Our room was so nice and cozy. The House was beautifully decorated. Our hostess Helen was so nice and kind, and she recommended a good nearby walking trail by a river, since we like to do a little hiking. The front yard of the House was very nice and peaceful to sit out in the evening watching the sheeps grazing across the field. We highly recommend Brandon View House to anyone looking for a comfortable in the area.

My husband and I stayed at Brandon View house our first night in Ireland. Everything was lovely. Helen has a beautifully decorated home. We enjoyed it very much and will gladly recommend it to friends.

Cycling:
At Brandonview House B&B we welcome cyclist, luggage pick up can be organised in advance. We have secure storage, packed lunches are also available.

We now can offer daily bicycle hire in our area we give guidance on routes to take and a guided tour can also be organised. This is very suitable for familys.
Golfing: Carrigleade Golf Course is just 2 km away its an 18 hole parkland par 58 course special concessions are available on this course picturesque surroundings will be enjoyed while on the course, we also have Borris Golf Course one of the oldest and most scenic courses in Ireland 10 minutes down the road and Mount Juliet is 20 minutes away.
Walking: Brandon View House Bed & Breakfast is set in the heart of an array of beautiful walks. There are walking trails for all ages and abilities. One of the most popular walks is the River Barrow Tow Path originally a path alongside the River Barrow to allow the pulling of barges or boats for transport. Along your route you will pass a number of old Lock Houses and arrive in the sleepy town of Graignamanagh. Brandon Hill, The White Mt., Mt. Leinster are more challenging walks. Transport is organised to and from these walks. Packed lunches are also available and drying facilities.
