I knocked on the door 3 mins to 3:00pm and a man finally answered the door looking like he just woke up. He then said “I didn’t expect you this early.” Check in for this program is between 3pm and 6pm. He then left me at the door stating he would be right back. I stood there for about 4 minutes, very frustrated and decided to leave. I do not recommend this B&B at all.

Hi Tonya, there seems to be a misunderstanding. I was informed by you that the first night of this booking was cancelled and you did not stay at our home. Regards, John

We spent the first two of our 7 nights in Ireland here. The location is just outside of Dublin. Beautiful views of Clontarf Bay with a nice sitting area across the street from the B&B. Breakfast was very good and John also owns a taxi. We hired John for a ride into Dublin for our 2nd day in Dublin. The house is older and historic looking inside. But clean and well kept.

This B&B is in a great location right outside Dublin looking over the water. City bus line was easy to catch & get to various locations that we wanted to visit. The house is quant with character with a beautiful dining room. The 3 staircases were a bit narrow & challenging with luggage, but the sky light in our room was awesome. We visited with John briefly one morning as he had made our breakfast, which was delicious! We were up very early & in late so we briefly said hello to Cathy when we arrived & then John drove us to the Dart station in his Taxi. We spent 4 lovely nights while we enjoyed our time in Dublin.

John nous a bien accueilli et l'endroit a été facile a trouver. Le centre ville est accessible en autobus, environ 10 minutes. Parfais pour les gens qui désirent un endroit plus tranquille. Déjeuner excellent.

This was our last stop of the trip. We only actually got to meet John the night before we left. He was kind enough though to check on us and offered to leave us some things for the morning before our early departure. I like that this home is located a little outside the central hub of the city. The house is really old but still kind of cool because that factor. We started in a really small room and then they were kind enough to move us into a bigger one. Thank you for you accommodation. There was a little confusion with the website and us paying cash to the host but we got it figured out and it's just something to remember in the future. Thank you!
