We stayed the first two days of our seven day holidays at this lovely location. John and his wife have been great hosts! We had a very warm welcome, a delicious breakfast and nice chats in the morning. The house ist very nice and the location is perfect for exploring Dublin. Thank you for two very nice and interesting days!

My fiancé and I stayed in 3 B&Bs in Ireland and they were all wonderful except this one. This B&B felt dirty and not taken care of. The shower was tiny and dirty and had a generator (which was very confusing to use). The sheets and towels felt dirty as well. The “queen” size bed was very uncomfortable because it was too crappy twin size beds pushed together. This B&B is definitely not 3 stars.

Unfortunately as you arrived very late and tired you were not able to experience our B&B fully nor experience the hospitability we are renowned for. Our B&B is a fully approved home to the Irish Tourist Board standards and is inspected to ensure standards and quality are maintained. Our home is very well cared for and passes all quality checks. The shower is the standard legal size and there is no generator for shower. There is a large red button on the outside marked Shower, it is a normal shower to European standards. The beds again are up to legal standards and approved by tourist board. I remember welcoming you the and conversing over breakfast. All our guests complement us on our beautiful B&B and our hospitality and we score very high usually. I hope you enjoyed your holiday to Ireland. John

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! Beautiful old home with quaint little rooms - no more space than needed but fully functional. John was a pleasure to talk to and he was incredibly helpful with recommendations for making the best use of my time in the city. His personal taxi service was an added bonus as it eliminated the need for me to find one on my own. I was not expecting the home to be right on the bay so the views were extra special, and it was a perfect location to walk to local pubs and restaurants. The home was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfasts were wonderful! Would definitely recommend a stay here!

This B&B is close to places to eat and a gas station. Had a great meal at the Kennedy Deli down the street. Although our gracious host, John, offered his taxi services, we opted to hit the city with our rental car. But did enjoy his breakfasts and great conversations. John is an interesting man to talk to. The room was nice, the bed was very comfortable, and the location is also close to the airport.

While the b & b is a bit older, do not let that concern you- I read through these and honestly was a bit worried- I think people have a huge misunderstanding of what a b and b is- The owner, John, took us into the city centre, which after driving for 6 hours the day before i greatly appreciated- his knowledge and history was VERY helpful and the bed was the most comfy I slept in throughout my travels in Ireland. I would only suggest the bathroom finishes get a little bit of an update. The towels were a bit worn and the shower was fine, but confusing to work. Also, not that it was huge, but being unaware of the channels on the TV it was kind of hard to know what channel is what so maybe a little document on that would be very helpful. Majorly beautiful spot too- across from the bay, next door there is a lovely sheepdog who I wanted to take home. Would definitely stay again!
