We found Old Orchard Cottage a very convenient B & B having just come off the late afternoon ferry from Fishguard. The house was beautifully presented and there were tea and cakes waiting for us on arrival. Our accommodation was comfortable and we enjoyed an ample breakfast the next mornign. Kay was a very good host during our stay helping us to find suitable restaurants locally to eat at.

We staid only one night before taking the Ferry to Fishguard. The room was so so, tiny and very old fashion. However, the location is perfect for an early departure to Wales

Hello Regis. Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay with us. I am sorry you were disapointed with the room. We did upgrade it two years ago. we will have a look at it again and do our best to make improvements. I am glad you liked our location. Kind regards, Kay.

This was the first B&B we stayed in during our vacation, no need for an alarm clock, her grandson who stayed there ensured we were wide awake promptly at 7:20 am. The home was very clean, beautifully maintained and food was delicious, however, we felt very aware of being an inconvenience to Kay. Gratefully, we only stayed here one night.

Tina, thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We are delighted that you liked our home and enjoyed our breakfast. I was very disappointed to read that you felt the way you did, I enjoy welcoming guests to our home and do my utmost to ensure that they feel comfortable during their stay. If you are back in Ireland again, I would be delighted to welcome you back to my home.

Although this B&B is in a nice location we felt that we were an inconvenience. We were also not impressed with the breakfast. If travelling to that area again we would definitely seek out another B&B.

Kay was a wonderful host, picking us up from the ferry. Loved waking up to hear "the cook" singing in the kitchen as she cooked a wonderful breakfast. The setting of the B&B was in a perfect location. We really enjoyed our stay and did notice there were two couples returning for another stay, say no more!!!
