We absolutely loved our stay at St. Judes. Location, rooms, host, and breakfast were all great! Would not stay anywhere else in Galway.

My wife and two adult children stayed two nights at St. Judes. It is a beautiful home, just outside the city center (Salt Hill), but in walking distance of the bay (Atlantic.) There are a handful of restaurants in walking distance so you can leave your car parked in the B&B driveway.
The hosts were very accommodating, providing ice, corkscrews and peanuts as we sat next to the fire in the sitting room. Additionally, our plans had us leaving each day before breakfast, so they prepared packaged breakfasts to carry with us.
I would highly recommend this location as a hub for any of your NW Ireland travels.

Our stay at St. Jude's in early November was wonderful. Our every need was seen to by the Johnstone's! The room was very comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious & the welcome was warm & genuine. Thank you for a lovely & memorable time.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at St. Judes and wished we could have stayed longer. The picture we saw on-line did not do it justice. The location was ideal - easy walk into Galway City Center and the Salthill Promenade. Plenty of options for food and drink. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from. We wished we could have taken advantage of the cooking class given by Tony and Ita's daughter in the evening - it smelled scrumptious. Will definitely plan to stay again when we visit Galway..
