St. Jude's was a gorgeous experience in so many ways. Tony has a magic touch with the gardens. The interior of the house featured inspirational art from multiple continents. Breakfast was a generous combination of fresh fruit salad, home-baked breads/jams, and Irish cheese or made-to-order hot dishes including eggs and salmon. My only regret about the place was leaving too soon as there was much to learn from staying at St. Jude's. Tony is a witty oral historian who shared essential insights about Irish history and he also offered resources to help connect my family in the US to our Irish roots. I look forward to building my next family trip to Ireland around St. Jude's.

We had a great 4 night stay in St. Jude's. It is a beautiful house, spotlessly clean, food very good. Location is great! A few minutes walk to the beach and all the bars, restaurants etc, in salthill. Bus stop directly outside the house and 15 mins takes you in to Galway city! Ita and John very helpful. I would highly recommend this B&B and would stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at St. Judes. Location, rooms, host, and breakfast were all great! Would not stay anywhere else in Galway.

My wife and two adult children stayed two nights at St. Judes. It is a beautiful home, just outside the city center (Salt Hill), but in walking distance of the bay (Atlantic.) There are a handful of restaurants in walking distance so you can leave your car parked in the B&B driveway. The hosts were very accommodating, providing ice, corkscrews and peanuts as we sat next to the fire in the sitting room. Additionally, our plans had us leaving each day before breakfast, so they prepared packaged breakfasts to carry with us. I would highly recommend this location as a hub for any of your NW Ireland travels.
