oh my. loved this property; it is a real farmhouse and we got the experience of watching the sheep graze, pet a couple of them...it is very close to the town of ferns and we had our BEST day in this little village. anne marie recommended a lunch place in kamolin and dinner in ferns. a very lovely experience and it is located right on the major road but feels remote. only problem was the we couldnt figure out how to work the shower and the teapot in the room had old water in it and was moldy.

My granddaughter and I had a very pleasant stay at Kilbora. The owner was very friendly and made suggestions of places to eat and historic sights to see. The breakfast was very delicious and the room comfortable. I would stay there again on another visit to Ireland.
