Meet your host…

Jim & Carol Kearney

Jim and Carol have now lived in Union Hall for 15 years. Jim is originally from Skibbereen, Carol is from England, they have two children who will often be found helping out in the B@B and Gardens. We love meeting people, Jim always has a story to tell in the Breakfast room, Carol will often be found in the kitchen baking or making Jam if not there she is in the Garden. We both love the B@B and have made some wonderful friends since we have been open and hope to make more so come and join us.

Carol was so helpful before our arrival, recommending we eat dinner before arriving... and, we found a DELICIOUS view and fare in Glandore at Hayes' Bar... That thoughtfulness extends to all the details of comfort and warmth that greeted us when we arrived at Lis-Ardagh. The Elm room had a view that extended to the sea - breakfast (made by Jim) was wonderful and the grounds serene and beautiful. We hope to come back and visit sometime soon for more than one night and we highly recommend this corner of Ireland!

Once again we had a wonderful time. It is like staying in a beautiful boutique hotel with B&B prices. Who could ask for more. We will definitely be back.

This B&B was everything we could have asked for; a stunning home with beautiful grounds and views, wonderful breakfasts and very gracious hosts, Carlol and Jim. Our room was spacious with very nice furnishings. We enjoyed chatting with Carol at breakfast. We highly recommend this B&B for a relaxing stay!

This B&B is outstanding. You could not get the comfort or 1uality of food and hospitality like it in any hotel. The room, furnishings, view and care to attention is exceptional. Linens on the tables and freshly cooked breakfast options were top notch. Thank you for making our break just the best.
