Meet your host…

Mr & Mrs Jim & Carol Kearney

Jim and Carol have now lived in Union Hall for 15 years. Jim is originally from Skibbereen, Carol is from England, they have two children who will often be found helping out in the B&B and Gardens. We love meeting people, Jim always has a story to tell in the Breakfast room, Carol will often be found in the kitchen baking or making Jam if not there she is in the Garden. We both love the B&B and have made some wonderful friends since we have been open and hope to make more so come and join us.

Fantastic! Stayed at Lis-Ardagh Lodge in October, 2018. Location is beautiful, bedding is comfortable, décor throughout this lodge is comfortable and gorgeous, breakfast delicious and Carol & Jim are wonderful hosts. We stayed at 2 hotels and 3 B&B's while traveling through Ireland. This was our favorite!

Great hosts! Warm and welcoming! Beautiful accommodations! The grounds are gorgeous! I will stay longer next time. The best of three B&B's I visited.

Property welll maintained with beautiful grounds. The room we had was large and setup real nice. Had a view of the Atlantic and a great sunrise. The breakfast room and breakfast was great and the owners were great hosts. The location was only about 1km off the main road. Make sure to go see the old church accessed through the rock about 2km away. Only problem we had was we like to sleep with windows open and the road to town is close by

We had an outstanding stay here but unfortunately it was too short. We ended up arriving very late and leaving early the next morning. The house and the property is amazing. The view from the decks was great. I was up early listening to the sounds of nature. I liked listening to the cows from the surrounding farms mooing to each other. I had the "Irish breakfast" at every B&B during our week in Ireland. Carol's Irish breakfast was by far the best. I'm not sure why....but it was. You can't go wrong with this B&B. 100% satisfied. If we end up in Ireland again we will definitely plan a few days around this B&B.

We stayed at 5 different B&Bs in Ireland, and this was by far our favorite! The entire house was beautiful, and our room was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was decorated really cute with nice furniture, large room and large bathroom, and very clean. The shower was amazing. Great outdoor patio, and awesome view. Breakfast was delicious! We loved everything about this B&B. This home is also within driving distance to our Atlantic Sea Kayaking on Lough Hyne - we did the night kayaking tour which ended up being the most amazing thing we experiencing in Ireland. Highly recommend both!!
