Patricia & Gerard Faherty

Seawinds is a family run B&B, which has been operating for 14 years in the town centre of Killybegs. Patricia and Gerard take pride in the satisfaction from their repeat customers and enjoy making the visitor at home. We strive to offer good quality food and hospitality. Patricia is also a watercolour artist and many of her paintings can be seen around the house. Her art makes full use of the unique light that typifies the landscape and seascape of Killybegs and its surrounding area.

Seawinds is a family-run Bed & Breakfast centrally located in the heart of Killybegs in Co Donegal, Ireland's Premier Fishing Port. It is situated overlooking the harbour and boats, and in walking distance to award winning restaurants and pubs. Private parking is available on site.

Guests can enjoy a variety of home cooked breakfasts while watching the fishing trawlers unload their catch at the peir metres away. Complimentary touring information is provided, with a handcrafted map for directions to the impressive Sliabh Liag, Europe's highest accessible sea cliffs just 30 minutes away.

Seawinds is located along the "Wild Atlantic Way" the longest defined coastal route in the world.

How to get here

On entering Killybegs with the sea to your left, turn right onto the main street (town centre) after 100m Seawinds Bed and Breakfast will be on the right, after Melly's restaurant, turn right into the property for parking.

It was certainly in a central location. It was fun watching the fishing boats and fishermen work right in front of us! Slieve league was stunning. Breakfast was awesome loved the yogurt and fruit. Great coffee and hospitality! Room was a great size and clean! Great hosts! Thanks

Great host, very friendly. Nice rooms and I even bought some lovely prints made by one of the owners who was away at the time. Right in the centre of town.

Seawinds was a decent place that met our needs. What was missing in modern comforts were made up for in kindness. Patricia was very sweet and accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.
