A charming rustic, traditional cottage in the peaceful County Kerry countryside, Lissyclearig Thatch Cottage is the ideal place to relax. Guests are greeted with tea/coffee on arrival and are treated to all modern comforts in this old world home. A prime location for touring the spectacular Beara Peninsula and Ring of Kerry, visitors can enjoy the freedom of the rural setting along with the perks of busy Kenmare town, just 3km away. How to get here

Leaving Kenmare, take the N71 heading for Killarney. After 2km take the first right turn. Lissyclearig Thatch Cottage is well signposted and located on the left-hand side.

Wonderful host with Carmel taking care of us and any need we had. The outlets were strangely placed but beyond that we loved this little fairytale cottage stay.

Beautiful and comfortable stay. The house was perfect, breakfast was Delicious and the girls loved the tuxedo yard kitty! Our hosts were very informative about the area and helpful with suggestions for dining and what to see and do as we were heading out for the day. Definitely recommend.
