DO NOT SHOW UP EARLY! Rosaleen and Larry will not be happy about this. We didn't know how long it would take us to drive from Dublin to Kilkenny and we actually got lost a little right by their place cause we missed the sign for their B&B. When I called for directions, I was given a bit of an attitude about showing up early and had to drag the directions out of her. When we showed up, I apologized for being early and asked for directions to town so we could go and explore since we were only there for the night (thank God). I even had to beg for my sister and her friend to use the bathroom before we left to go out. She was nice enough to give us the key to our room for when we returned and did offer us tea and cookies in the evening. I do understand that they need to clean and get rooms ready before we arrive but we weren't going to stay so please don't be rude about it. The next day while my sister and her friend were outside walking around the grounds smoking and taking pictures of the flowers, Larry yelled at them to get back in the house! I overheard him saying "*****ing *****s taking pictures!" and I couldn't believe my ears. I thought I misheard him until they told me that they got yelled out for taking pictures! Also, there are really no other places to sit in except for your room unless you want to sit at the dining tables set up in the eating area. The other areas are all marked private and are for Rosaleen's and Larry's personal use.

Wir waren zu früh, was kein Problem war. Schönes Zimmer für 3 Erwachsene. Gutes Frühstück. Gute Wegbeschreibungen und Vorschläge für die Weiterfahrt.

BREAGAGH VIEW B&B Guests beware! In the agreement you’re supposed to call or let them know if you’re coming or arriving late for any reason or if you have trouble. Well don’t let them know because they won’t be very nice about it. I have a email confirming that they changed our flights so we would be coming in later they knew this I don’t know how much later but I did say later pass the six check in they were OK this per the email and also told us where we could stop to get something to eat before we get to their house because it would be late. So the plane arrived late it was so sometime after seven we got our rental car it’s now 8 PM and we stop and grab something to eat on the way to this B&B. The light was on in the car when we picked it up from the airport and I remarked to the attendant about the light being on she said everything was fine.. we were on the motorway And traveling at 120 km when the tire blew from the inside wall out. We were 30 miles from Rosaleen’s B&B when this happened. We called the car company and they put us in touch with emergency people then I called Rosaleen’s B&B To let her know we had a flat tire on the motorway she assured me that it was OK she would wait for us to come. The car company couldn’t seem to get a hold of their people in the area of where we were so they sent a person all the way from Dublin which was over an hour away from where we were sitting. My mother Jean was in the car with me she 78 years old and scared. We waited because I tried to get the Lugnuts off of the tire and they would not come off someone had put them on with the power wrench. We did not get assistance from anyone even though there were emergency vehicles going past us. I kept calling and speaking to Rosaleen and letting her know what the situation was. The later it got the ruder she got. I then let her know that she should just go to sleep and we will call her when we are closer she refused and made it clear how angry she was. She even told me why can’t you just stay where you are and I asked you mean on the motorway with my 78-year-old mother in a car that’s broken down I did not understand why she was so mad but soon it became very clear she then let me know how tired she was and it was my fault. She said she would stay awake until we got there just hurry up. The man finally came with the rocker and he could not get the tire off he hurt his groin trying and then he had to call someone for an electric wrench and then we had to wait for them to come I also kept her very informed of this and she was very rude still. We arrived at her B&B when she open the door abruptly first thing she said is very quiet we have children sleeping here we really didn’t say anything except thank you and sorry to keep you awake she said well what’s done is done I’ll talk to you in the morning here’s your room so we went in her room and went to sleep. Next morning there are 4 children running all over the place screaming and yelling at all hours of the morning especially by our door . She’s on walks up to us as we sit at our table and drink coffee and says so what happened to you I apologized again and explained what happened she said well then you should’ve turned around and went back to Dublin or you should’ve stayed where you were I said well we very well couldn’t stay in the car and she was very rude and short.. so we had some cereal and got our things ready we gave her a tip for staying up late for us I apologized again also I brought a gift from the US which I presented to her she was still very short and rude and we left with a bad taste in our mouth. Why would you tell someone to call you and let you know if there something wrong and then you don’t want to help them when there is something wrong I don’t understand that I would never stay with this person ever again. Looks can be deceiving her house is gorgeous but her personality needs a lot of work.. I don’t recommend this B&B to anyone and nor would I ever stay here again

The rooms were great and the host gave us a map and recommendations fro dinner. There was plenty of parking and it was an easy walk to the city center. We left early that morning to catch a flight home. it was very easy to get on the highway and head out of town.
