Upon arrival at Bunratty Haven we received a very warm welcome from Lorraine and, since we were the first of the guests to arrive, got to choose our room from the 4 available. Each room has a small but functional en suite bathroom, one full/queen bed and one twin bed with coordinated, clean linens. We enjoyed a second floor room with a view overlooking the pasture across the street. Easy to use windows and radiant heating. Breakfast is streamlined with a menu of options provided the night before and you select the time you will eat. We loved that since we were getting up early both mornings there. Close proximity to Bunratty Castle (which is incredible!) and less than an hour drive to the Cliffs of Moher. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again.

We stayed here during Storm Ophelia. Lorraine graciously allowed us to check in early (so kind and caring) and though we lost power for several hours were safe and sound to wait out the storm. We ate in Shannon where they had power that night. Room was clean and spacious, toilet & shower were great! Lounge area provided great tea and tourist info about Ireland. Food was delicious and really felt that our host cared about us. Great base point for travelling to Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle, etc. Probably our best B&B stay in Ireland!

We stayed two nights at Bunratty Haven B&B. Lorraine was just fantastic. She greeted us warmly and welcomed us in. She is just so nice and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Bunratty Haven is a good location and great for day trips to many areas, including Bunratty Castle and the Cliffs of Moher. We decided to do a day trip to Dingle and it was perfect. Lorraine recommended we eat at Durty Nelly's - which was perfect for us. We would happily stay at Bunratty Haven again.
