Glenmore House

Great location. Clean. The owners were very helpful with directions and helping us find locations for dinner etc. their breakfast was perfect. I enjoyed the time we got to spend talking with them in the lounge in the evening. Great people I will definitely it’ll stay again next time I visit.

Not really ready. The rooms and general establishment were in need of repair. Our room had a single BARE lightbulb hanging from the ceiling and no other lights. Construction materials were strewn about. Breakfast was in two rooms for 10 rooms with assigned tables. It was more like a buffet at a hotel than the personalized service we were used to. On the bright side, there is a bar and they have entertainment, like a karaoke style singer with a guitar doing country and western. The view from our room was outstanding, and the location ideal. If they would hire someone to do repairs and hang pictures this could be a great place. This could be a great place if the maintenance were addressed.

L’accueil de l’hôte fut cordial aucun souci par contre la chambre était vraiment pas en adéquation avec tous les bnb que nous avons pu faire: Placard dans la chambre sert de dépotoir aux hôtes Chambre vieillotte Chambre très humide Nous étions plus en camping que dans un bnb. Le petit déjeuner était bon. Le concert du samedi soir sympa mais nous empêcher clairement de dormir car les enceintes étaient dehors à côté de notre chambre.

We had a wonderful time at Glenmore House. The view was stunning from our room and John and Valerie were so kind and friendly. The room was a bit outdated, but it didn’t impede on our stay at all. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back if we make it back to Ireland.

Room was spacious and clean. The bed was really the worst I ever had in a Hotel and I spent around 120 nights per year in Hotels... awful Mattress, way too soft and obviously old. Bathroom was clean but not well maintained, missing maskings etc. Breakfast: Without words... you can choose from a variety of Options, but it doesn’t help if no Fruits, no cheese not even cups or a good coffee is available... No one really seemed to care. Breakfast room itself looked like a huge crowd just left it, which would be ok if someone would take care of the mess, but NO... As this was the most expensive B&B during our stay (€110/2Pax) NO RECOMMENDATION AT ALL.
