This was our fifth B&B we stayed at in Ireland. Our stay was on September 22, 2019. It was a one night stay before flying out. Marion was pleasant enough, but I was not happy with our stay in other ways. The room was small and the en suite bathroom was so small that it was difficult to use. The room was only about 20” wide. My husbands knees were under the sink while trying to sit on the toilet. The sink was ridiculously small and the area between the sink and wall to walk through to the shower was so tight that you could hardly get through. The water flow in the shower was so low that it was difficult to complete a shower. There was so much furniture in the room taking up space and so many chairs in the hallway that in event of emergency it would be difficult to get around. It is obvious that rooms were added to make more rental space, but there is really not enough space for them. The parking is also extremely tight and insufficient for what is needed. The facility really needs some updating in decorating and plumbing. Also we left at 7:00 am to go to the airport and was told that was too early for breakfast, but there was no adjustment in our charge for that. Not good customer service in my opinion. Maybe could have given us a muffin or something if too early for hot breakfast.

Pratique car proche de l'aéroport, accueil charmant, très beau jardin, chambre spacieuse, petit-déjeuner typique. Adresse insuffisamment précise, se fier au descriptif pour accéder à la maison.

Marion was a most welcoming host, very knowledgeable on where to shop, best places to eat and provider of an excellent breakfast, supplied by the butchers directly across the road, where we bought bacon ,sausages and black and white pudding to take home to the UK. a fitting end to our tour around the old country.

We stayed at Highfield House on our last night. Our accommodation was comfortable and Marion very warm and friendly. Unfortunately we had to leave early before breakfast.
