We loved our recent stay at the Woodlands. We were running late and Barbara was very accommodating. We were met at the door by their dog Max and Barbera showed us right to our rooms. She then encouraged us to go right into town for dinner as most places stop serving by 9 pm. She even made a call to The Greenway Restaurant to let them know we were coming. Excellent meal there and we loved the town area. Our breakfasts were hearty and delicious. Her husband helped us with our day trip plans so we knew where to go, and and gave us some wonderful suggestions. Bed was comfortable and bathroom very clean. No complaints at all - we would highly recommend staying at the Woodlands and will return!

The B&B was beautiful, and the Barbara the host was so welcoming. The house is nestled in a wooded area and you are immediately welcomed by Max the dog. Max showed us to the door, then Barbara took over. The property was beautiful and clean and you felt like you were home. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home on country lane within short walk to village. Our hostess, Barbara was very accommodating to our delayed arrival. Max, the family dog even welcomed us and escorted us inside. Our room was lovely and spacious overlooking the well manicured grounds. Barbara served breakfast in the Conservatory and offered choices the second morning. She was warm and helpful with directions and suggested , “Trad on The Prom” in Galway. The Irish music and world Champion Irish dancers were spectacular. Barbara was absolutely lovely. Looking forward to returning.

My husband & I loved Staying with Barbara! She & her husband were so lively & fun, & had lots of great ideas of what to see/do in the area. And the B&B was amazing! Such a gorgeous home, near the downtown area of Oughterard, & not too far from Galway, or other lovely sights. And Max! Their lovely dog, Max, was always there to welcome us when we returned from our day's trek, & also to say "goodbye" when we left. It really was like staying with an old family friend. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Big hug, Barbara! :o)
