Rossroe Lodge is a family-run B&B set in peaceful Cashel, in the heart of Connemara, County Galway. The house boasts fantastic views of Cashel Bay and nearby mountains. All bedrooms are individually decorated and are equipped to the highest standards with under floor heating and orthopaedic mattresses ensuring guests a restful sleep. There is a private lounge for guests where one can relax by the turf fire or enjoy a lazy afternoon or evening on the decking admiring the true beauty of unspoilt Connemara. Breakfast is wholesome and tasty and dinner is a culinary experience not to be missed. 

How to get here

From Galway, take the N59 towards Clifden. Turn left 2 km after recess (Sraith Salach). 5 km on the R340 turn right for Cashel (An Caiseal). Drive for 4 km and take a by road on the left signposted Rossroe Lodge. It’s on your right 3 km down facing the Sea.

This b&b is immaculate and the Irish-french owners are so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us, Extremely quiet and beautiful. The sunrises were amazing and we even saw the northern lights - there is next to no light pollution. It was an easy and beautiful drive around Connemara to beaches and other towns like roundstone and clifden. Would highly recommend!

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful location. It was nice to have breakfast to order every morning before heading out. The best was having dinner ready for you after a long days journey. We tried different meals on their menu each night, not to be disappointed. Sylvian & Mary are Superb

My husband and I went to Ireland for our 15th wedding anniversary. We both have Irish heritage and really wanted to explore all the wonderful things Ireland has to offer the world. Our first Bnb stop was at the Rossroe lodge. Oh my goodness. The house is so cozy and a real home away from home. Our hosts were amazing! The food was absolutely delicious (make sure to order dinner one night at least) and we felt so well cared for. It is a little remote but that part of the charm. Absolutely stunning views and so serene. We had a lovely time.

Rossroe Lodge is very comfortable and the views are gorgeous. Mary and Sylvain were lovely hosts. Our room was on the second floor and was spacious and comfortably furnished. Breakfast and the dinner was very good. Highly recommend.
