Norman was welcoming, entertaining and a fountain of knowledge. Blarney is accessible on foot and Cork is a short drive away. On our last night in Ireland we managed to see both and still have enough time to enjoy our newly refurbished room. Comfy, quiet, private: overall a great spot to enjoy this beautiful part of Ireland from. Also handy for the airport, a 30mins drive on a Sunday morning. Cracking breakfast, home backing to boot! Thank you!

Norman was great! he was very welcoming and suggested places to eat to dinner. We slept in for the first time our entire trip and he let us have breakfast a little late. The room was wonderful, and clean! plenty of parking and a short walk to town.

Could I give more than 10 stars? We stayed there 2 nights and wished we could have stayed more. Beechwood is lovely and Norman is the star. The breakfasts were the absolute best of our trip and Norman's knowledge of the area, coupled with his charm, humor and personality made our trip so enjoyable. Regarding accommodations, the ensuite rooms are spacious, clean and comfy; the food portions were generous and so tasty. Pub, shopping and restaurant recommendations were spot-on. I highly recommend Beechwood!

All I can say is one word....NORMAN!!!!! What a fantastic host! I was traveling with my 3 girls towards the end of our trip. It has been pouring rain the entire day, by the time we were all exhausted and a bit on edge. Norman was so helpful with dining locations and he even saved me traveling time for the next day suggesting that I take the ferry . THANK YOU !!! The home was immaculate and breakfast wonderful( my first time trying blood sausage :)
