Pond House

The Pond House was a delight and a great stay all around. Tom was a fantastic host and made us feel like we were at home. Tom can carry a great conversation and was extremely personable. When we arrived he showed us about and left us to get settled in. Once we were ready, he recommended a great pub to get some drinks and food at. This B&B is in a great location and just a short walk to town, and a quick drive to Blarney Castle. The room was perfect and quite spacious - especially since we were on a family vacation and 4 adults were staying in there. Shower didn't work but there was one we could use on the floor that wasn't in another room so everything was ok. side note - all of the showers we encountered in Ireland were electric so just be aware of that. Although there were no in room amenities, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the tea was hot so it made a good start to the day. All in all the pond house was a great place to stay. Would def go back on next trip to Ireland.

Tom is exactly the kind of person who you expect to encounter in Ireland. Hilarious and warm conversation while he goes to town in the kitchen cooking breakfast, and we are so glad to have come across Pond House.

A pretty old house. The owner was very friendly and smiley. Old house, but very clean and calm.

Great place to stay! Tom is very funny, gracious and cooks an awesome breakfast. The rooms are very cute, and it's super close to town! Would definitely stay there again!

Pond House was our favorite stay during our time in Ireland! Tom was a wonderful, funny host who made a great breakfast and great conversation. The location was perfect for going to Blarney Castle and the accommodations were very comfortable. We highly recommend this B&B and would definitely stay here again!
