Very nice accommodations and host Bridie was fantastic. Room and bed was small, but was cozy indeed. And breakfast was perfect!

Woodhaven Lodge Bed and Breakfast was a breeze to get to and a lovely place to stay in Galway. Bridie was warm and welcoming and gave us great advice on places to park and find our way around the city centre. Our room was cozy and well appointed, our bed large and comfortable and the bathroom clean with a great shower which was welcome after a day of sightseeing.
The following morning we had a very good breakfast- my husband had the Irish breakfast and I had toast, yogurt and fruit. We would stay again if we are ever in Galway. The wee bottle of Irish whiskey given to my husband for his birthday was very thoughtful and very good ;D

Even though we arrived at a really sad time for Bridie and her family, we felt very well cared for. The breakfast was the best of our whole trip, with freshly cut fruit and yoghurt in addition to the full irish breakfast (which I just love, and I'm generally not a breakfast person). This B&B is perfectly located for a day trip to Connemara with Kylemore Abbey, the scenic Sky Road and Clifden and in the evening you are not too far away from Galway city center where you can enjoy the buskers while trying to decide where to have dinner or just a lovely pint of Guinness.
