Meet your host…

Julia O'Connor

I have been in the hospitality business since 1991 and I do enjoy meeting people and engaging in conversation. During the winter months I do a lot of walking nearby. I've also walked abroad; Grand Cayon in the U.S., Matchu Pitchu, South America, las Alpujarras, Spain and Brittany, France. I also cycle, I've completed the Ring of Kerry, cycled in Poland and France. I also cook and enjoy having people for dinner. When totally relaxed I enjoy reading and am a member of the local book club.

We love our time here! Olive was an amazing hostess and the food and accommodations were wonderful. We especially loved the pub down the road!

Julia is the best! Our room was spacious and comfy. The breakfast was great. Julia’s yard has a roaring stream and beautiful flower gardens. She told us about other gardens in the area as well as info on the Beara Peninsula. She was helpful when we had a nail in our tire. Great location for the Ring of Kerry. Just all around wonderful!

We stayed in several B&Bs in Ireland. This was totally my favorite. The gardens were gorgeous and a little stream running right behind the property was like having a water feature just outside your bedroom. We opened the windows and it was marvelous. Breakfast was absolutely delicious.

The Ireland B&B s made our August trip extra special. I can not say enough good about Ireland hospitality. An Bruachan was especially wonderful with tea, cake and wonderful company on arrival. My very favorite part was the babbling creek and yard park behind this B&B, we did not have to leave to see Ireland beauty at its finest.
