Meet your host…

Julia O'Connor

I have been in the hospitality business since 1991 and I do enjoy meeting people and engaging in conversation. During the winter months I do a lot of walking nearby. I've also walked abroad; Grand Cayon in the U.S., Matchu Pitchu, South America, las Alpujarras, Spain and Brittany, France. I also cycle, I've completed the Ring of Kerry, cycled in Poland and France. I also cook and enjoy having people for dinner. When totally relaxed I enjoy reading and am a member of the local book club.

An Bruachan was a great place to stay, and Julia was a very helpful host. Our room, at the very top of the house, was spacious and comfortable with Julia making sure that we had extra blankets and plenty of amenities in the bathroom. The breakfast was great, and Julia helped us plan a wonderful trip to the castle in Kilkenny. The location is perfect for day trips in many different directions.

This might have been our favorite B&B on our trip! Our room was clean and very comfortable, and right on the stream outside, so close we could hear it! Breakfast was great! Julia was so nice! Close to town but not really walking distance. Highly recommended!

This was my first experience with a B&B and Julia made sure it was wonderful. She made sure we had information on Ring of Kerry and were well informed of potential areas to visit. Would totally stay at this B&B again. It was lovely!!!!

Julia was a lovely hostess. She helped us with dinner suggestions (with live music) in town and with our driving the Ring of Kerry. We enjoyed the house. We would love to stay here again when we return to visit Dingle.
