As many have stated, the puppy welcoming committee was a delight.. Trish and her family were a prefect hosts.
In addition to our bedroom, we were offered the front room to relax, read and have a cup of tea.
Trish's suggestion and directions to The Abbey Tavern for dinner were spot on.
Only wish we had more time to tour the farm.

Nous avons été reçus de manière charmante, la maison est agréable, le petit-déjeuner était très bon. Ce séjour fut bien sympathique, notamment par la présence des animaux et surtout des chiens très amicaux!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hillview! Trish offered great suggestions for things to see and places to visit. Waking up to the animal sounds each morning was a delight. On our next trip we will make a point to stay here again.

We stayed at Hillview in Early August. We wanted to stay in the Shannon area for proximity to the airport, but, for some reason, there is not a whole lot available in the way of B&B's - especially B&B's with any sort of character that can accommodate 3 in a room. Hillview is about 26 minutes' drive from the airport. Had a bit of difficulty finding the place at first, since we did not have Internet access or good GPS, but we asked two very nice ladies (who knew Trish) who were out walking in an nearby town, and they told us the way. It's easy to tell that Trish is a sweet person. She provided good recommendations on where to eat in Ennis, but I wish I would have noticed in the B&B description that she also makes dinner upon request - saw her serving a meal to another guest family, and it looked soooo good! The house is nice - a few spiders in the ceiling corners of our room, but they pretty much kept to themselves. ; ) I must say that the breakfasts here were the best that we had in Ireland, both in terms of quality and quantity.
Host's Reply: Dave & Vivienne : Thanks for choosing Hillview Farm for your last night in Ireland. We are lucky Shannon Airport is nearby . Sorry you had difficulty finding us ,, Glad you enjoyed our farm breakfast, it was great having you stay with us Regards Trish
