Hillview Farmhouse B&B is a working farm located in the fabulous East Clare countryside with fantastic views and scenery. Guests are welcome to take a tour of the farm to meet all the animals including the donkeys and ponies and if they want to get up early they can collect eggs for breakfast.  There is also the option to feed the calves either in the morning or evening feeding time.  Most of the food on the farm is actually produced on the farm - you can't get much fresher than that.

Take a deep breath & fill your lungs with clean fresh air - listen to the birds sing - wake to the sound of the rooster & donkeys. Ideal for nature lovers. What a wonderful place to stay in the Irish Countryside! Trish and Tony are the best hosts 😊. We and the family enjoyed perfect rooms, baths and breakfast. We all loved meeting, feeding and watching all the animals. Very adult and kid friendly. Breakfasts were great and Tony gave us helpful directions to our destinations.

Very nice place, comfortable and with so welcoming hosts. Trish was always ready to help and what a marvellous breakfast! The four dogs are so kind and we loved the contact with the other donkey, alpaga’s, pony…. Only negative point : we had to share our (wonderful) bathroom with other room guests! That is something that I personally do not appreciate. I will anyway recommend the place.

Trish is an amazing person, we had an issue that she graciously helped us to resolve. Her home is very comfortable and in a beautiful area. Her breakfasts were the best we had out of the 4 places we stayed at. We were so full that we didn't have the urge to eat until well after 5:00 and we ate at 7:30. Her husband was also helpful in giving directions to where we wanted to go.

I don't know what I can add to all these stellar reviews. This was absolutely our favorite place to stay. We arrived a little after 6. Normally, we check in and go back out to see the area sights but after Trish offered to let us bottle feed the lambs, we knew we were in for the night. After we walked around the farm, we planted ourselves in a couple of chairs in front of the house and hung out with beer and the animals until the sun went down. This was definitely one of the unplanned highlights of our week in Ireland. If you love animals and hospitality, you'll love it here. Thanks Trish.
