A modern, family-run bed and breakfast in the idyllic fishing village of Blacksod, Léim Siar is a County Mayo hideaway. Nestled on the picturesque Mullet Peninsula, just two minutes from sandy shores, guests can indulge in delicious homemade breakfasts and enjoy a varied menu that even includes fresh local fish. Close to the 18-hole Carne Golf Course and an array of water and adventure sports, visitors will have plenty to explore. The house is 20km from Belmullet, guests can avail of free parking.

How to get here

Take the N59 to Bangor Erris and continue on the R313 to Belmullet/Béal an Mhuirthead. Or from Ballycastle (Céide Fields) R314 into Belmullet/Béal an Mhuirthead. Then take the third exit at the roundabout, left after Eurospar (R313) continue for 20km then turn right at L5230 Bothar an Chósta, it's the fourth house on the left.

We stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed Hannah’s wonderful hospitality. The breakfasts were delicious and Hannah was very helpful in getting us lots of information about the area.

Super location in a stunning place with the most accomodating host. We loved Hannah and we look forward to a return visit. The divers with cameras were happy.

We had a brilliant time in Black Sod and staying with Hannah was one of the highlights. Her B & B is a fantastic place to stay. It's been a hard time for people in the hospitality sector but Hannah has played a blinder. You have to try her scrambled egg and Salmon it is to die for!!!

Hannah’s B&B is like home away from home. It was lovely to swim with her and the locals in BlackSod and be part of the locality for a few days. Breakfasts are a highlight
