Orchid House

Fantastic B&B Awesome Hosts. Gill & Pat were super friendly & very helpful with suggestions. Very interesting to hear about the history of their family & history of the area. They made us feel very at home. Room was excellent The breakfasts were by far the best we had in 3 weeks in Ireland. Great choices & homegrown fruit & homemade jams to go with them. Thank-you so much!

Our hosts were fantastic. We could not get there until late, but they were very accommodating. The location was terrific. It was a stormy night, but watching Mother Nature churn the ocean waters was relaxing and made the stay even better. Breakfast was overwhelmingly wonderful. It was big and tasty. Our host were helpful with helpful suggestions to make sure we got to see things from the best perspectives

Of all the B&B's we stayed in on our trip, the Orchid House is our favorite. It has a fantastic location in the middle of the sea, the rooms are lovingly furnished and very spacious and the hostess is very, very nice. There are enough parking spaces at the house. As in many B&Bs, we were allowed to choose breakfast the evening before. The selection was varied, from pancakes to eggs and bacon, there is something for every taste. I chose porridge and my husband chose pancakes. Both were served with fresh fruit and compote. There was also fresh, homemade bread and muffins. Everything tasted absolutely delicious. Knowing that the breakfast is very plentiful, sandwich bags were ready so we could pack the muffins for later. We would have liked to have stayed longer. If we go to the Cliff's of Moher again, we will definitely stay at the Orchid House again. Thank you so much for everything.
