Meet your host…

Marie Maguire

This is our 21st year running Cul-Erg B&B in Portstewart. I qualified as a nurse but prior to that had trained as a chef. We both lived in Australia and London where I worked as a nurse. After our wedding in 1994 we travelled to Portstewart to visit friends and the rest is history.

Lovely stay in a well-situated B&B. All you need in a manageable distance. Neat accommodation. Very tasty breakfast with various alternatives to the classical Full Irish Breakfast. To be recommended. Thank you for the nice stay.

Wonderful. We had such a fabulous trip in Ireland and spent all day visiting sights. Got in too late for dinner in town but the breakfast more than made up for it. A delightful B and B ably managed by the owner’s charming son while they took their first holiday - well earned. Highly recommended.

We were in Ireland for 10 nights at B & B's. This was by far the BEST! The accommodations were wonderful. We not only had two beds but a nicely furnished sitting area as well. They have thought of everything. From Q tips to lush terry cloth bathrobes. The furnishings are lovely; the breakfast table so nicely set and the food was excellent! And on top of that, JJ and Marie were very pleasant hosts - they were friendly and offered us information on a few local "oddities"to see as well as excellent choices for our outside meals. I don't know if you offer 5 stars...if you do, this B & B should be ranked that way. Excellent!
