Our stay at the Honeysuckle Cottage was definitely a highlight of our 9 day trip to Ireland. Valerie and Eric's home is first rate in every way. The bedroom and en-suite bath were large, spacious and clean. Valerie had thought of every detail to make us feel comfortable and right at home. We got an amazing night's sleep in the luxurious and comfortable bed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Valerie is an amazing cook. I have several food intolerances and that was no problem for Valerie, she accommodated all of my requests happily. She knows the area perfectly and had suggestions as to where to eat and things to see as well as stories about the coastal area where she grew up. When Eric found out that our son lived in Dublin and was having plumbing issues he explained to Paul how the water systems work in Ireland so that we could help our son. They even offered to have him call them if he needed help. That is going above and beyond! The only regret that we had in visiting this beautiful country is that we didn't stay at the Honeysuckle cottage longer. We will next time when we return to visit our new friends and we will recommend this little gem to everyone we know. Thanks again Valerie and Eric.

We found this B and B on the internet with no prior knowledge, and it proved to be open of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. Accommodation was of the highest standard and the hostess made us feel most welcome.

If we could rate this place as an 11 star we would! My wife and I stayed here on a recent trip to Ireland. We stayed in several B and Bs, and this was our absolute favourite! Valerie made us feel like family. Her home is modern and spacious. She is also an excellent cook. You won't leave here hungry. We can't express how great of a hostess Valerie is. We would return just to chat with her again!

It was our first stay in a B and B and I did my research on this specific B and B. Valerie did not disappoint! Her home was so clean and welcoming and she is such a very hospitable host that we enjoyed chatting with and getting to know. Since she isn't new to the area, she gave us great advice on the places we wanted to see and her B and B was the perfect location for all of them. Her breakfast was exceptional! I wish we had stayed longer at her B and B but this will not be our last time to visit Ireland so we do plan on staying there next time.
