Fortfield Farm is just lovely. We really enjoy having tea in the enclosed porch upon our arrival. Brid was a very friendly hostess, and we enjoyed our breakfasts and accommodations. Nice and quiet there. We had a private bathroom, so you can get ask for that in suite. Very nice indeed. I had never seen horses sleeping before...rather interesting. They look like statues standing up, but don't move an inch. There is local dancing, but it's not traditional Irish dancing. We should have asked first. You pay a cover to get in. We wouldn't do that again. Not our thing.

Our hostess was beyond wonderful and we had a very comfortable stay. I Would like to have had a longer visit, perhaps next trip.

Beautiful farm house and very nice owners who offered us tea and local information. Also met some other nice travelers. We had a bit of trouble finding it, but the local fireman excoreted us there - awesome! However, the locals at the pub up the street were not as friendly as they could have been. One older gentlemen talked to me with a very heavy accent, thinking I could not understand him. He was not saying nice things. I just ignored him as I did not want to ruin my vacation with confronting him. Just beware.
