We were 3 generations - my Dad, my adult son, and myself. We stayed in a "triple" room - plenty of space and we each had our own comfy bed. Mary is a gracious host. We were road-weary and she called Monk's and made a dinner reservation for us. Great seafood! The Dolmen Lodge is a great jumping off point for the Burren. After a full Irish breakfast - and saying good morning to the cows in the adjacent pasture - we were on our way. Very quiet and restful, would recommend Dolmen Lodge!

What a beautiful home! The view from the front of the house was simply breathtaking. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Mary's husband was very charming and enjoyed humming and singing. I highly recommend staying here!

What a wonderful house and host! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Dolmen Lodge. Mary made some great recommendations for sight-seeing, dinner, etc. And our breakfast was delicious and accompanied by song from Mary's husband. Our room was clean and very accommodating for our party of 3. I would definitely recommend Dolmen Lodge and would stay here again.

Spent two nights at Dolmen Lodge with my family and we were very comfortable--safe, peaceful and beautiful gardens added to the charm. Breakfast was delicious and complimented by Philip's singing! We appreciated the flexibility to stay out later and let ourselves in. Lots to see in this area--loved the Burren, the Cliffs and Doolin!
