Norma is a fantastic hostess. We arrived late due to flight delays. She welcomed us in at 2100, and immediately offered us tea and biscuits! She was always willing and able to help us plan our day trips from the farm with an experience that can only come from living here. The breakfasts are phenomenal, and yes, very day we set out with those precious scones in a baggie. If you leave her table hungry, it's your fault! Her recommendations about the area were always on point for us. Our 4 nights at And Na Greine were the best of our week in Ireland. If you want traditional Irish hospitality, you'll find it alive and well with Norma Walsh!

Truly the heart of Ireland. Your host, Norma is a national treasure.
She and Mary will make you feel right at home. From the moment I booked our adventure, no other B & B compared to the kindness and customer service of Ard Na Greine.
No, I am not a relative but I would like to be. Thank you for everything you made my 50th birthday unforgettable.

Can we give it an 11? Mary and Norma were exceptional hosts as we felt welcomed and were given great advice about the area. The views were stunning and fun to walk around the area. The room was very nice and the breakfasts were the best we had on our 12 day trek. So glad we booked 2 nights here and the takeaway scones were much appreciated. Would love to get back someday.
Also very accommodating to the couple we were with, who left something behind which was mailed to us.

We were completely at home in Norma's beautiful B&B. Her home is on a working dairy farm and is just beautiful. Coming up to her door was like going home to visit my grandmother. From moment one she was so welcoming and continually striving to make sure our stay was perfect. She is an amazing baker and you will never lack for yummy goodies. Every morning she sends you on your way with fresh baked scones to take with you in a little baggie and every evening when you return regardless of the time you will get some other fresh baked goods and an offer of tea or coffee. We compared goodies from each place we stayed and her scones win hands down. So delicious, especially with marmalade. Her assistant Mary comes each morning to help with breakfast and they put together amazing food and you will not leave hungry. The pancakes and porridge were our favorites. The room we were given was very large in comparison to other places we stayed and had a great view of the pasture where we could see the cows make their trek to get milked each day. If you want to view their milking operation, Mary will take you out back and tell you all about them. Norma also had great suggestions on things to do each day. I will definitely return one day. I just hope Norma is still running the place and if not perhaps Mary will take the reins.
