Catherine and Finnbar were the most gracious and kind hosts and the rooms were wonderful. Her cooking is top rate and we loved the conversations we shared. I had stayed here with my mother, 15 years prior, and chose this b&b specifically for that reason. Not only did they remember us but our signatures were still in the guest book! This trip with my fiance, Tucker, was just as special and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. This is the perfect location for southern Ireland, as it is warm and hospitable, as well as within short driving distance of so many wonderful places. I would highly recommend this for all who want to feel welcome and at home.

Out of the four places we stayed while in Ireland, An Rosalithir easily is the best! From the moment we arrived, Finbar and Catherine's passion for making their guests' stay as perfect as can be was apparent. Finbar helped us to our room with our bags, made us coffee, tea, and scones, and spent 15-20 minutes discussing our plans with us and offering useful suggestions on things to do and places to see. Both of our hosts are extremely knowledgeable of the surrounding area, and offer excellent advice, but are not pushy in doing so. The entire home was impeccably clean, the breakfasts were superb, and the location is ideal of visiting any location across the entire southern coast of Ireland, from Mizen Head to Cork. I highly recommend staying at An Rosalithir if you plan on travelling to the southern coast. I know that we will be back as soon as we can!

Catherine and her husband were such gracious hosts. We were greeted and immediately offered scones and tea after a long day of driving. Magnificent! They even let us know about a scenic cliff area that wasn't even five minutes away. It was beautiful, and we would have never know about it! The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we couldn't have asked for a better view. The B&B sits on a breathtaking hill with a view of the ocean! Fantastic stay. Highly recommend! :)

Catherine and Finnbar were both so helpful. Catherine even offerd us to pick us up from city by car! (If the way back to the house is too far for us) So the B&B is not just business for them! Our room was very comfortable, cosy and clean. The irish breakfast was really good. My boyfriend and I would recommend it. Thanks a lot ❤️ Greetings from Germany
