A very warm Irish welcome was had on our arrival. A peaceful location where the beach and nearest village are but a few minutes drive away. Catherine gave some great recommendations as to where to eat and spend the evening. Sadly we were only able to spend one night here as we were on our way to a family event, but definitely somewhere we will return to, hopefully for longer. Thank you Carherine and Finnbar for being such lovely hosts

Very nice house in a peaceful surrounding. Catherine is absolutely wonderful! We were looking for a place to have dinner on a Monday and she checked for us wether the pub was open. So we had a wonderful evening at Glendore, a place worth visiting.

Our recent stay at Rosalithir was superior, excellent hosts.
It was definitely the best B&B we had during our two week stay in Ireland. The room was very clean and nicely set up. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. We highly recommend this B&B.

We had a wonderful stay here this past June. We stayed three night and the hosts were superb. They had great suggestions for dinners and were very flexible on timing for breakfasts. Accommodations were well appointed and up to date. We would definitely stay here again.

I wrote this review last summer, about a month after we returned from our trip, but just never got around to putting it on the B&B Ireland site until now. However, I have always intended to because we LOVED this B&B so much!
We arrived, during the early evening hours, after an adventurous day driving from Dublin through Kilkenny, Cobh and Kinsale. Catherine and Finnbar were there to greet us and showed us our room. Since we were so close, to the beach, we wanted to see sunset there and wind down a little. They suggested Warren Beach which was only a 10-minute drive from the property. We did the cliff walk and watched an amazing sunset! By the time we made it back to the beach, a full moon was rising over the water. There was nobody else there and it was the perfect ending to a busy day. Driving back towards An Rosithlir, we could not find a place still open to eat so we just went back to the B&B. Catherine and Finn heard we had not had dinner and quickly whipped up a plate of cheese and crackers, cookies and a fresh pot of coffee. An hour of great conversation ended near midnight and off to bed we went. The next morning, I awoke early, around 5am, and Finn was already awake and preparing for breakfast. He brought me a small pot of coffee to enjoy as breakfast would not be served for another couple of hours. I walked the property, drank my coffee, watched the cattle graze across the street, watched a red fox play in a field and just enjoyed the early morning quiet while taking in the beautiful views! After a delicious breakfast, and more great conversation, unfortunately, it was time to continue our trip around Ireland. After packing the car, we had to get pictures with Catherine and Finnbar as they were the most gracious of hosts. My 23-year-old daughter calls them her "Irish grandparents"! Thank you for the amazing experience, Catherine and Finn, and for making An Roslithir feel like home away from home (Oklahoma, US).
