Gorgeous property and a gracious hostess. Our room was comfortable, our hostess was very helpful with recommendations and dinner reservations. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

We loved our time at Trean House. Joyce and Mervyn are gracious hosts. The location is ideal for exploring the Inishowen Peninsula with all of its history and scenery. A walk along Malin Head was particularly dramatic. And of course we enjoyed being escorted to the nearby beach by Finn the Irish Setter. We highly recommend Trean House for those wishing to enjoy the many delights of County Donegal.

We were recommended to stay at Trean house and we were very pleased . Joyce and Marvin remembered my brother and family in detail from 20 years back which says a lot for their hospitality . Their place is an authentic Irish farmland experience ! The upstairs suite is comfy and the breakfast fabulous , but the whole - feel at home atmosphere is lovely and Joyce’s recommendations were perfect . Lovely couple , homy atmosphere, stunning surroundings . A highlight of our trip !!! Thank you !!!!

We had an excellent stay at Trean House. The house was cosy, with a beautiful garden and welcoming spaces for guests. We enjoyed seeing and listening to the sea from our room. Tremone beach is a five minutes walk from the house.
Joyce is allways available to give tips about the region, sightseing and activitiies. She also cooks a magnificient breakfast.
Many places to visit around, with plenty of sea, wind and gulls.
In peak season, most restaurants at reasonable distance tend to be ovecrowded.
We hope to visit again !
