This bnb scores easily a 10 of 10! Ethel Lee and her hospitality is second to nobody. From her personality and clever wit, to service at breakfast, to her recommendations! An easy drive within 60 minutes of the Mescan Brewery (Belgium beers from Cillian O Morain), to Matt Malone's in Westport, to Kylemore Abby, to Cong, and Galway. Definitely, would stay here on another trip to the Galway area (a short 20-25 min drive).

This is our second time staying here. We first stayed here in 2023 , and had a lovely time . Beautiful place right on the water , and she had donkeys That is why I chose this place for my trip in Mid June 2025 . And I’d choose this place again if staying in Galway .

We hd a lovely time with Ethel at her B&B. She was accomodating helpful and engaging. She shared helpful information on where to eat and travel to Galway. We loved the views from our rooms and the gardens. We will go back when we travel through ireland again.

Ethel was a superb & very welcoming host. Our bathroom was sparkling clean and our room very spacious.
It was lovely to wake up to those special views of the lake every morning.
