How to get here

There are two main roads into Dingle From Tralee/Killarney direction. The main N86 or the scenic Conor Pass route. Both of these routes pass through Dingle town – As you pass the tourist office, follow the harbour past the marina and you will come to a roundabout. Go through the roundabout (second exit) following the sign for 'Feohanagh'. Stay on this road for approximately 10km (passing a large hardware store on the way). Then you'll see a sign for a pet farm - stay on the main road. Continue until you see the white sign for Coill An Rois and turn right. At the fork in the road there's a small white bed and breakfast signpost, stay to the left of this and follow the next signpost around the corner to Coill An Rois.

Our stay with Jimmy was absolutely delightful! Not only is he an excellent cook (trained pastry chef!!), he is great fun to visit with. And he makes every effort to ensure his guests have a memorable stay, such as making arrangements to get us the last two tickets to an Irish music concert and then driving us to the venue! He even allowed us to video him speaking Gaelic and pronouncing the name of his B&B. He was a wonderful, warm, helpful host; and we would definitely stay with him again given the opportunity!

This was slightly remote but well worth the drive! The house was very clean, Jimmy was a wonderful host and cook, and we especially enjoyed seeing horses, cows and sheep all near the house! The baby lambs had just been born! I recommend this B&B!

This was a wonderful place to stay. Jimmy was very hospitable and the house was great. You would need a car to get there but the drive was worth it. The food was delicious and Jimmy's knowledge of the area was helpful. The setting is beautiful with sheep in the fields nearby.

What beauty! Inside the house and outside. Everywhere you looked. Away from the city and so peaceful. After being up more than 24 hours it was wonderful to see our charming room.

It's tough to describe how idyllic and lovely it was to stay at Coill An Rois. But, for us, it was the best place we stayed at during our two-week getaway. Highlights included: * Jimmy's thoughtful conversation and suggestions for sights * Incredible baked goods and Bailey's-infused porridge * Serene views of Mt. Brandon and the surrounding pastures * The most comfortable bed in Ireland * A shower with great water pressure My only wish is that we had stayed there for more than two nights. But I know we'll be returning before too long. P.S.: Don't turn down the porridge at breakfast time. :) (I've also posted this review on TripAdvisor, so more people know just how wonderful Coill An Ross is.)
