We had a remarkable stay at Taobh Coilles. We were so excited to find a B&B overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and with the view of the Dingle Peninsula across the way. Yes, this puts us in the Ring of Kerry – Amazing! And this all came together to provide us with a spectacular sunset each evening. We were not disappointed! To top it off, the first morning we saw a beautiful rainbow out the dining room window, almost as if it was highlighting Dingle. The location was not the only remarkable experience. Our breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The facilities were very clean and well kept, and Agnes and John made our stay a pleasure. Both were warm, friendly, and made us feel right at home and part of the family. Agnes was so welcoming as we arrived later in the evening, and we were all tired from our long travel. She promptly got us settled in and suggested a local pub for dinner. John showed us around their working farm, and the sheep made the view even more picturesque, we even met the herding dogs. There was also a walking path from the B&B down to the shore where a beautiful grotto of the Virgin Mary was constructed. We would highly recommend this B&B!

I cannot say enough positive things about Taobh Coille. As other reviewers have noted, this was the highlight of our stay in Ireland. We felt like we were coming home every night we stayed with the extremely warm reception from Agnes and John. We've stayed at many places and have met many gracious hosts, but Agnes and John bring it to a whole different level. This is an experience not to be missed. We enjoy animals and Agnes and John were very happy to show us the livestock including friendly cats and dogs, cows, sheep, and chickens. One of their cows had a calf while we stayed there! And the breakfasts were fantastic! We were the only occupants on our first 2 nights and one other group the third night. We enjoyed chatting with Agnes and John each morning and walking around to see the animals. The walk down to the bay is beautiful. The room was very comfortable. A huge thanks to Agnes and John for giving us a memorable and one of a kind experience. We will be back!

Agnes and John have been a very welcoming couple. I immediately felt at home there. Special thanks for the spontaneous music session with their German friends one evening. The weather was great, which was why I could not stop enjoying the great view over the sea to Dingle peninsula and the lovely sunset. Go raibh mile maith agat, Agnes & John

We absolutely loved our stay at Taobh Coille. Agnes and John truly made us feel at home and part of their family. If you want the true bed and breakfast experience in Ireland, this is it! Agnes greeted us warmly with tea and snacks and was especially kind to our son Declan. Breakfasts were delicious, especially her homemade scones, which she sent with us for our road trip when we left. The home is warm and inviting. The views are breathtaking and the location is very easy to find. The pub she recommended down the road (Caitin's) was so good we went two nights in a row. This was one of the best parts of our trip to Ireland.

Our stay at Taobh Coille was the highlight of our visit to Ireland! Agnes and John warmly welcomed us into their home, and from the first moment to the last made us feel as though we were part of their family. As for the B&B, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the views of the mountains, farm, and sea were simply unbeatable. We would HIGHLY recommend Taobh Coille to anyone planning a visit to the Ring of Kerry!
