Meet your host…

Lovett Family

The Lovett Family have been farming the land for generations and welcoming guests for over 40 years. The old stone farm cottage still exists. Cattle mainly Hereford @ Charolais and sheep namely Suffolk @ Scotch are reared on the farm. There is always lots of work to be done on the farm with the vegetables being sown in spring and silage cutting during the summer months. Many of our guests take a stroll before or after breakfast to the farm, enjoying the panoramic views on the way.

We had a lovely 2-night stay with Sheila. She was very accommodating when we were delayed in arriving. The room were very spacious, and the property was nice and quiet. Sheila was a wonderful hostess and the breakfast was delicious. The town of Kenmar - just down the road has a lot of great restaurants.

Stood out among the 3 other b&bs we stayed with this trip. Very friendly greeting and checks on you throughout your stay. Stunning property where you are welcome to stroll about and take in the views of the landscape as well as their grazing farm animals. Breakfast was delicious-french press coffee and homemade scones blew me away. Short drive into a quaint little town. Bed was comfortable. Shower was very small with weak pressure but this seemed to be a universal thing no matter where we stayed. Thank you Sheila for your unwaivering service after being a host for over a decade.
