Meet your host…

Sean O'Donoghue

The O'Donoghue family have owned (for hundreds of years) and managed Salmon Leap Farm as a B+B since 1963. Sheila and Flor O'Donoghue started the B+B and they are still part of the team along with Sean(son), Eilish(daughter in law) and Peter(grandson).Salmon Leap Farm has evolved over the years to what it is today, a 3 star, eco friendly B+B. We celebrated our 50th anniversary as a bed and breakfast in 2013 which we think was a milestone in the tourist business in Ireland.

Lovely home with very kind hosts, Sean makes a great breakfast! The bedrooms are on the second floor and steps are steep if that is of concern to you. Be sure to bring your own hairdryer. Very nice room with a lovely landscape view and very clean.

We loved our stay at Sean's BnB. He's such an amazing host, full of great suggestions for hikes and local amenities. Breakfast was amazing and filling every day, the rooms were superb and clean, and we had the best experience with him. Staying at the BnB brought us back in time, and we left with amazing new memories. Thank you so much, Sean!

This was a lovely B&B and we can't wait to come back. Shaun was warm, welcoming and extremely helpful with information and insights to help our travels. We stayed for 3 nights and our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. We would gladly come back to the area and stay a week. The location is close to town and the Ring of Kerry. The rooms are spacious and clean. Out of the 5 B&B's we stayed at in Ireland, this was by far the best!
