Salmon Leap Farm

Killarney, Kerry, V93 DF8H

14km from Killarney

Meet your host…

Mr Sean O'Donoghue

The O'Donoghue family have owned (for hundreds of years) and managed Salmon Leap Farm as a B+B since 1963. Sheila and Flor O'Donoghue started the B+B and they are still part of the team along with Sean(son), Eilish(daughter in law) and Peter(grandson).Salmon Leap Farm has evolved over the years to what it is today, a 3 star, eco friendly B+B. We celebrated our 50th anniversary as a bed and breakfast in 2013 which we think was a milestone in the tourist business in Ireland.

Salmon Leap Farm was a very comfortable B&B. The bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and breakfast room were very comfortable and inviting. We really appreciated the conservation ethic of the B&B. It was located in a very pretty setting. Sean was very helpful answering question about his farm and of Ireland in general. Excellent customer service. We would definitely stay here again.

Very adorable and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and Sean was a wonderful host. Only down side, wifi would not work for us in our room. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

The house was clean and neat. Our queen size bed was comfortable. The shower has wonderful pressure. Breakfast was delicious. I was told it was not a working farm. Wanted to go for a walk. I was told theirs not much to see. I was disappointed.

Lovely home and our host, Sean went out of his way to give us excellent service. He also took the time to give us a tour of the ancient architectural site on his property which was extremely interesting to us. We would highly recommend this B&B.
