Salmon Leap Farm

Killarney, Kerry, V93DF8H

14km from Killarney

Meet your host…

Mr Sean O'Donoghue

The O'Donoghue family have owned (for hundreds of years) and managed Salmon Leap Farm as a B+B since 1963. Sheila and Flor O'Donoghue started the B+B and they are still part of the team along with Sean(son), Eilish(daughter in law) and Peter(grandson).Salmon Leap Farm has evolved over the years to what it is today, a 3 star, eco friendly B+B. We celebrated our 50th anniversary as a bed and breakfast in 2013 which we think was a milestone in the tourist business in Ireland.

We stayed 2 nights, june 10 &11. Beautiful place, a little difficult to find but definetly worth it. We( 2 couples) appreciated the fact that it was an organic and green B&B. Sean a a super host, very informative showed that he was very proud of his place and with reason. The rooms were great, clean and comfortable. I definetly recommend it.

This was one of our favorite places we stayed! We were guests June 23-24. Sean was a great resource and helped us get the most of our short time in the area. Our room was nice and big and the shower had AWESOME water pressure. We arrived late the first day, but Sean was super accommodating and was able to give us a suggestion for somewhere to grab dinner. It is a beautiful property and you will love your time here!

A very nice place to stay. Very good welcoming by Sean. Much information about what we could do and where we coud go to make the best of the time allowed to us. Very helpful. A bit noisy from the road and from the bathroom above... :-) But good beds and nice room. I would come again....
