After a long flight to Dublin, we drove to Oldtown Farmhouse and appreciated the warm greeting from Mary and a hot cup of tea. It was our grandsons first visit to Ireland and his first bed and breakfast experience. We all loved it. The beds were so comfortable and we awoke the next day feeling well rested and excited about our trip. We had a wonderful breakfast, including local trout! The weather prevented us from visiting the ring fort and gardens but the home is beautiful and welcoming. We highly recommend this location and would stay again the next time we are in the area.

This house was the perfect place to stay for a first time international traveler. Mary was the perfect hostess and one of the warmest, most generous people I've ever met. We're friends on Facebook now! She and her husband John have an amazing farm and greenhouse operation and gave a great tour. If you have ANY questions about the area or where to go, Mary has stacks of brochures and a story fr everything. Do yourself a favor and stay here!!!
