Old farmhouse has a very deceiving name. There is nothing old about it. It is very modern and very nicely done. All of the places we stayed in our 10 day travels across Ireland, This was by far the nicest B&B. Mary and John were excellent hosts and breakfast could not be beat full Irish breakfast, including blood and light sausages, including links, sausage, bacon, eggs, toast, Irish bread, fresh orange juice, and coffee! The grounds were lovely, professionally landscaped, and perfect for walking around. Mary even gave us a tour of her property and a lot of history surrounding it. We visited Killkenny Castle, which was less than 15 minutes from the house and also had dinner at a couple of nice places in Kilkenny.. Mary suggested several ruins of Abbys and castles in the area which we took the opportunity to visit and we were not sorry. Can’t speak enough about what a great property this is to stay at. Thank you for having us.!❤️
