This was the first place we stayed at during our Ireland vacation in august. I had made an little error during our reservation but the host handled it perfectly. We loved this place, the host, Mavis was so nice and welcoming and made us feel like a home. Also I fell in love with Mia the dog. We're both countryside people so it was absolutely wonderful to follow cows during our breakfast, which was by the way delicious. If our future journeys take place at this part of Ireland we will come again!

Mavis was a lovely hostess. Good breakfasts. My only query is the Agro Tourismo part. As it was quite remote and a car is definitely needed it would have been good to have been able to eat there in the evening as Agro Tourismo means this in Italy.

We just returned home from our trip to Ireland last week - and we loved our stay at Coolmore. Mavis was so friendly, we loved chatting with her - and my kids loved meeting the dogs, Mia & Kia! It was also such a fun and unique experience for us to watch the milking operation in the morning (my daughter loved being right there as all the cows crossed the road!). It was a great stop for us, as we headed into Kilkenny the next day. Our rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was great!

The farm house hosts were sooo sweet and I wished I could have spent more time there! We stayed at 4 bed and breakfasts during our holiday and we voted this one our favorite. House is warm and inviting and watching the cows get milked was fascinating. Thank you for sharing your home with us. And we hope your son moves back home from Australia. Until we meet again.

This was one of my favorite B&Bs it is nestled a few miles from Kilkenny on a small family ran farmhouse. The owner and family helped me with directions to town as well as offered me some coffee and conversation. I felt very welcoming and at home at this property. Thank you!
