A cosy farm-house with a remarkable view over Achill Islands Bay. Ideal location for people willing to experience the Irish faith by climbing up to Croagh Patrick.
That day, we did it successfully but we arrived all wet and damp at Margaret's home. So we appreciated a lot the hot tea and delicious scones she provided to us in order to warm up a little bit.
The pub she recommended to us for late dinner was very welcoming with good quality of food served.

A cozy b & b, neat and clean room.
Friendly and helpful hostess. A good place to come back again especially because of the view over the bay to Achill

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our quiet off-season stay at Achill View! We were greeted by Margaret, tea and biscuits in front of a lovely fire. Once we settled in, we headed out for dinner. Unfortunately, the recommended restaurants were all closed due to various reasons. We found ourselves in Louisburgh at a Take-Away. After we arrived back to the B&B, Margaret asked us how we made out. She felt bad everything was closed. She even offered to make us a meal!!
We let her know our plans to visit Clare Island out of Roonagh in the morning so she gave us our breakfast time. Well.... we set our alarm incorrectly and missed our breakfast time and the ferry. Fortunately, Margaret had called ahead and found the ferry was closed for the day due to the weather. We had the absolute best breakfast in all of our Ireland travels! She even sent us with a take-away bag and recommended we drive over to Achill Island! We had no plans and found the drive to be one of the most beautiful. We would definitely recommend this B&B.
Also, being that it was January and really cold, it was very nice to have those heated blankets!

My o my. I arrived on a cold rainy day. When checking in I was met by the warm Irish hospitality of Margaret. She made me feel at home and then she brewed me a cuppa with the most delicious home scones and jam while I watched the North Atlantic beating the shores with the wind howling around the corners. My bedroom was cosy warm and inviting. My Irish breakfast was to die for.
Thank you for sharing ypur home with me. I had an amazing time

This is a very petit and quaint lodging. Felt the room could have been a little larger and more accomodating. It served its purpose and I would like to thank you for that.
