We had a one night-stay here in April. Everything was great. The proprietor here is a lovely lady named Margaret. This place sits right across the road from farm fields down to a beach and Clew Bay. Margaret gave a good dinner recommendation for The Tavern, only about 5 km from the B&B. We also had a lovely breakfast, we had some of Margaret’s scones and she even insisted on us taking the 4 leftover scones with us.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at Margarets home. Margaret was always checking to see if I would like tea or scones. My room was comfortable and quiet. I had a key for my room and for the front door. The sitting room and bedroom had tea making facilities. When I returned to the house with a takeaway that I didn't quite like, Margaret made me sandwiches. She was so kind and friendly, the perfect Host. Thanks again.

A cosy farm-house with a remarkable view over Achill Islands Bay. Ideal location for people willing to experience the Irish faith by climbing up to Croagh Patrick.
That day, we did it successfully but we arrived all wet and damp at Margaret's home. So we appreciated a lot the hot tea and delicious scones she provided to us in order to warm up a little bit.
The pub she recommended to us for late dinner was very welcoming with good quality of food served.
