We had a very special time at this house.
It was the start for our Ireland road trip beginning in beautiful County Mayo.
Every morning a wonderful delicious breakfast with a great view.
We loved it. Thanks to Teresa!

Cuaneen House gives you access to the best of County Mayo. The tag line on the Louisburgh welcome sign is "in God's pocket," and when you see the rough beauty, you can understand it. Cuaneen House is walking distance from one delightful beach and there are some amazingly gorgeous windswept beaches nearby (Silver Strand, Old Head). Crough Patrick is nearby with the opportunity to hike up a mountain! (as many thousands have) and you can take a delightful excursion north to the phenomenally beautiful Achill Island and Keem Beach (thanks to Teresa for the tip). Teresa is a great host with wonderful breakfasts, and very helpful. The view from her place is incredible.

Teresa was lovely, a sensitive hostess and stellar guide to the area. Her accommodation was comfortable; her breakfast was more than the traditional Irish and scrumptious. Loved her home with the bogwood, the wall photos, Jess the cat and the "little beach," Cuanneen, just a saunter down the road. Thank you, Teresa, for directing me to P. Dan's where lurked a wonderful surprise. We hope to return!

Teresa was the best! She was thoughtful when I injured myself and offered a great tip on how to get to Clifden. She sets a beautiful table and a lovely plate. We had a very quiet and well appointed room with a wonderful view of the bay.

I really enjoyed Teresa's fine hospitality. The home was clean, fresh, comfortable, relaxing, and her breakfasts were nourishing. The location is walking distance from a quiet, gorgeous beach. the little town had some nice restaurants.
