we did not sleep over as we thought the interior of the house was not what we experienced before in an Irish bed and breakfast. There was no tea or coffee in the room. we had to ask for that and waited downstairs to have it.
very old furniture and place.
we were disappointed and decided to leave a few minutes after we had arrived.
we knocked on the door to let the host know we were leaving but got no reply. The TV was on and maybe they did not hear our knock.
The description does not match the place inside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Cuaneen House. Teresa and her daughter Linda are such nice, caring people who take a genuine interest in their guests. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, and the breakfasts delicious and substantial. The scenery is magnificent, and the hospitality complements it!

We loved Cuaneen House! Teresa was a wonderful hostess: She provided an amazing breakfast each morning and gave us tips for what we should see while in the area. Her daughter, Linda, was delightful, as well. The room was comfortable, and we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay if we are in the area again!

We had a very special time at this house.
It was the start for our Ireland road trip beginning in beautiful County Mayo.
Every morning a wonderful delicious breakfast with a great view.
We loved it. Thanks to Teresa!
