Very lovely place with a nice Pub nearby, within walking distance. However, we needed an iron and a hair dryer which could not be found. The hostess had gone out for the evening and we were unable to find these things.

Host's Reply:
Thank you for your review.Sorry I had to leave that evening at 10pm to attend a function.Pity you did'nt ask me early in the evening for the iron. There is a hair dryer in the drawer in all of the bed room for guests use. I hope you enjoyed your trip to Ireland. Thanks again, Josephine

Lovely clean bright house with friendly welcome despite driving into garden. Good room and breakfast. Handy location for sights of Meath with off street parking (lovely grounds) and good bar food within walking distance.

This is a lovely house just outside of the town of Navan. It's a perfect place to stay for a quiet, comfortable stay near the Newgrange and Hill of Tara historical sites. Our hostess was so charming and we enjoyed her beautiful home, the flowers and the wonderful breakfast. She even scheduled our breakfast around our trip to church in the morning. We would highly recommend the Bothar Alainn House.
