My wife and I stayed 13-November-2018 as we ventured through Sligo. Ava Maria is a wonderful B&B out in the country and Mary was a fantastic host the hospitality was awesome and breakfast was amazing. Mary thank you so much!

This place is great! They even offer to guests the chance to watch the cows get milked and participate in some farming activities. The only constructive criticism I would offer is there was a window above the door in our room with no shutter and the light was on the hallway so the room was a little too bright for sleeping. We eventually turned the light off in the hallway but I felt bad doing it in case they leave that light on all night for any reason. So I'd recommend adding a shutter to those over-door windows.

What a wonderful b and b! The hostess was super friendly and we talked about our families and genealogy as if we were old friends. Such a lovely person! She gave us great advice on where we could walk in the area and we enjoyed going up to the local bar and seeing the inlet. Breakfast was fantastic and she was kind enough to serve it to us early so we could get on the road to our net destination. I highly recommend it!
