As a B&B host I hope to ensure that all our visitors delight in everything our B&B has to offer including the local area, the history, the colour and the craic that gives Sligo its special ambiance. I hope your stay with us is a truly memorable one.

The view from our room to the back was marvelous. The room was adequate; although, we could hear our neighbors talking and showering. We received very little orientation upon arrival. Our breakfast was delightful prior to our departure.

We were running a bit behind schedule from exploring Ceide Fields, but we called to let our host know of our arrival time, she was gracious and told us not to rush. We were warmly greeted into a lovely home with a wonderful view of Benbulben the rugged mountain looming on the horizon, Full Irish breakfast in the morning, it was a great start for the day. Nice experience overall.

Nice house, set in beautiful country. Wonderful view of mountains—Benbulben? Close to good restaurants in the town. Tasty breakfast.

Philomena answered the door with Who are ye! Not a welcome greeting! She was very matter of fact. Got the room keys and said we had plans with family and would be back late. We got back to the house at 1:30 pm and could not figure out how to lock the door. We tried for 15 minutes. We were going to call her but decided against it since she was not very pleasant to begin with. We closed the door and went to bed. When coming down for our breakfast, she gave it to us full barrel. We did not properly lock her door. She does not llke her doors not properly locked so I said that she might want to teach us how so in the future one will know how to work her door. We could not get out of there fast enough. The house was spotless, the rooms were comfortable, but the owner was nasty. Her husband on the other hand was the nicest person. I apologized to him, he showed me the grounds, the cute and happy dogs, the sheep in the meadow and directions to the ocean just a short drive down the road. He made up for her in a big way. I would never go there again. When you open your home to people from all over the world, be nice. I am rating for the house, not the owner. The place was great, her not so much.

Excellent stay. really enjoyed it. Wonderful hosts. The breakfasts were incomparably good, and Phil had done baking so there were little extras. Both she and her husband went out of their way to give me recommendations, and they told me about the Sea Shanty festival at Rosses Point which was great fun. Lovely views of Benbulben from the bedroom, and a lovely location outside Sligo, but close enough to get in to town in a few minutes. I would stay there again.
