This was my second stay with Mary at Bansha House and it was just as lovely as the first time I visited last summer. Mary is the ultimate hostess and the house and surrounding area are gorgeous! One of the things I remembered about my first visit was how incredible the breakfast was - sausage that was amazing, butter curls that were so decorative, delicious brown bread, eggs, bacon, etc. The breakfast was just as wonderful this time! Mary made my daughter and I feel so welcome and even took the time to take us on a tour of the stables - a lovely treat! Our room was perfect with a wonderful view of one of the horse pastures. The house itself is stunning with each room tastefully decorated. I highly recommend staying at Bansha House and hope to be back again in the near future.

A two day stay with my father and son was quite enjoyable, with everyone commenting how comfortable the beds were, how quiet it was, and how well they slept. The house was beautiful in its surroundings with the rooms quite large and the place well kept. The breakfast was a perfect example of a full Irish breakfast and the conversation, thanks to the ever-charming Mary, was delightful. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here to anyone wanting a location that allows for quick access to Cashel, Cahir, or Tipperary.

Our stay was brief but Mary was an amazing host. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The house is beautiful and the area is equally as beautiful. Mary takes great pride in hosting and is proper in every way the word is defined. Breakfast was delicious starting our day of driving off right. Thank you Mary for a pleasant experience!

We stayed for 2 nights at this beautiful property in August. Mary’s son Ed greeted us with tea while Mary was at a competition for one of the horses. The room was plenty big and the bed was comfortable. Mary was so much fun and so passionate about her house, horses, and her life! We especially loved the butter curls and marmalades. She recommended we hit the local pub Nellie’s for a pint and we enjoyed meeting the locals there. The house staff were so great as well! Thank you!

Such a beautiful historic home set in the countryside. We stayed 2 nights here and Mary was the ultimate hostess. We enjoyed our fireside chats with Mary and learning about the house and surrounding areas. There's an old castle less than 2 miles away which we explored, as well as other historic sites and buildings in Tipperary. The only negative, which we hesitate to report because everything else was so perfect, is the odor in the 1st floor room by the front door. There appeared to be a dampness issue which a odorizer could not completely hide. The other 1st floor room was fine, as was the rest of the living spaces. Mary provided us a tour of the home including the other bedrooms, all of which were stunning. All in all, we highly recommend the Bansha House and would give it 10 stars if not for the one issue.
