Rose and I spent a lovely 3 nights with Brid and Jim at Glenraha Farmhouse. My wife is a ex-farm girl so staying on a working Dairy Farm was absolutely fantastic and thanks to Jim Rose was quickly back into milking the cows. Thank you Brid and Jim for a 11/10 stay. All the best.

My mom and I stayed here near the start of a two week journey through Ireland. It was for two nights during the first week of June. Brid and Jim's place is quiet and in an open setting with fields all around. Our room was comfortable although slightly cramped with the two beds and our luggage. No mind, though, Brid and family were very spacious in their welcoming. The breakfast room is a large, bright space and enjoyable to sit in. Brid prepared us an excellent breakfast both days, which we took our time consuming. During the day, we visited Jerpoint Abbey on the way to Kilkenny. Both places are a must see. Per Brid's suggestion, we had dinner at the Rising Sun B&B and Bar in nearby Mullinavat. We were in luck since it was a Tuesday night and a dozen or so local musicians gathered there for their weekly jam. This was traditional Irish singing and playing! Brid, Jim and family are hard working dairy farmers who come from a long line of farmers and they seem to have been able to skillfully combine that noble craft with the art of good tourist hospitality. Thank you, folks!

Home was nice. Room was lovely. Food was good. Hosts were wonderful. Loved the setting. Brid & James were kind & helpful. They had brochures and ideas of places to go. We enjoyed touring the dairy and helping out. They also showed us some not well known local sights. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would stay again if I ever had another chance to visit Ireland.

Hello Jeri and Jennalee, Thank you for your lovely review . We are enjoying lovely warm weather here although the grass is starting to burn up which will put pressure on the Fodder situation . It was lovely to have you both spend time here and please god might see you again with your grandchildren. Brid and Jim Glenraha farmhouse
