Our hostess looked at me as if I had taken leave of my senses when I asked to be in on the morning milking. They provided me with boots and jacket and off I went. Jim was great explaining the whole operation and providing a fresh jug of delicious milk for my breakfast.Wonderful breakfast and a wonderful time milking the cows which is something I’ve wanted to do my whole life. The room was comfy and spacious.

We had the best introduction to Ireland by staying at Glenraha for our first and second nights of the trip. We felt like part of the family in no time! The accommodation was clean, comfortable and fault less and breakfast kept us going until dinner. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Glenraha Farmhouse. Brid was the perfect hostess, warm and welcoming. Their home is beautiful, bright and cheerful and our accommodations were roomy, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Brid prepared a delicious full Irish breakfast. We enjoyed chatting with her and learning about farming and the history of the area. She kindly provided wellies and took us on a tour of the farm. This was a wonderful experience! I am sad that we only stayed one night. I would love to visit again.
