Great experience! Everything related to the accomodation was of the highest standard (room, beds, breakfast) ... but the best is the farm experience: our kids really enjoyed milking the cows and collecting the eggs. The hosts Brid and Jim were excellent, very nice and helpful. All the best for your family and farm!

Lovely warm welcome from Brid, very comfortable bed, most welcoming after a long drive. Thoroughly recommend The Rising Sun in the village for excellent food and traditional Irish music. Brid cooked us a great breakfast and her poached eggs were perfect. Interesting chat with both Brid and Jim, a lovely couple.

Ideal location for visiting Kilkenny, Waterford, ... Excellent room. Very welcoming and warm family. Although we only stayed for two nights, this B&B is the most fondly remembered of our trip to Ireland.

We received a very warm welcome when we arrived, and just in time to help with the evening milking, which we all thoroughly enjoyed, and we learned so much about the process too. The bedrooms, the twin and the double were very comfortable and we all had the best nights sleep on the beds, followed by a delicious cooked Irish breakfast. Toby the dog was so sweet, and my daughters soon made good friends with him. The house is in a lovely country location, cows right outside the breakfast room window. We all wished we could have stayed a second night, so maybe this is a good reason to return another year.
