We arrived late on our 3rd night of B And Bs during a self driving tour. John was very gracious and moved us to a second room after not able to get the TV to work. Room was comfortable and plenty of hot water for our showers in the morning. We were his only guest that night and he served us a very nice breakfast in the morning.

We arrived late as we called ahead. John was great and helped us upstairs. We thought the room was just okay. Small and not super clean to be honest. We got up early and headed out and couldn’t have breakfast unfortunately.

Tynte House was our b&b for the first night of a self-driving tour, a lovely introduction to the narrow windy roads and small villages of rural Ireland. The room was comfy, the host informative and helpful, and the breakfast generous and tasty. What we did not expect was the absence of restaurants or pubs in Dunlavin. However we were very happy with our supper at a pub (Hideout, I think) in Kilcullen as recommended by John.

Lovely old home in quaint town. John was very gracious and helpful. Room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was grand. The village lacked restaurants but about 25 minutes away in Killcullen were great spots. It was our first day driving in Ireland so twisty narrow roads were a challenge, but great food. Great start to our trip

Great experience! We arrived later in the day on a Sunday for the last two days of our visit. John was a true gentleman and assisted us with our bags (to top floor accommodation). Comfortably room, quiet and safe! We experienced Tony’s Take Away the first night, and ventured further to The Hideout in Kilcullen on the last night. Perfect spot, perfect hosts.
