Great little place. Yes, room a bit small but had all the necessities. Conveniently located as walking distance to the main part of town. Lots of history here. Terrific breakfast in the morning. Only 1 night but was comfortable. Next day on our way to Giants Causeway (bit less than an hour). Pat was very nice to give us a great tip on going there, be sure to ask him. Thank you for a great tip and a good night's sleep.

We stayed one night at the Phoenix B&B. Pat was so friendly and welcoming. Rooms were a bit small, but comfortable. Understandable as it was located in the city. Perfect location to explore the walled city. Pat cooks a fabulous breakfast, and gave great advice as we headed to Giants Causeway the next day! Highly recommend!

Pat couldn't have been any nicer! We arrived earlier than expected which coincided with another guest returning to collect a forgotten item, so Pat welcomed us in. He asked where we'd parked and when I showed him he said to move the car in front of the B&B as the other spot higher up the hill was only one-hour parking. I was not felling well that afternoon and asked if there was a pharmacy nearby where I could get some paracetamol. He said right next door should have some, and then two minutes later he knocked on our door with a blister pack of pills! The room itself was bright, clean and more than enough space for us. Everything has been updated but the bones of the house are old with crown mouldings and chair rails which gives a homey ambience. Our room on the first floor overlooked the front street, which worried me as I'm a light sleeper but it was very quiet at night and I slept well. The bed was a true queen size bed and very comfortable. Everything was provided for in the bathroom which was also very clean. The location is great for exploring the old walled town as it's an easy walk. The next morning Pat cooked a hot breakfast for us while he chatted before we set off for the Giant's Causeway. We would highly recommend the Phoenix B&B.

This was our only stay in a larger city during our trip in Ireland. Although it didn't have the space or the view of some of the other B&B's, it was a nice place to stay. It wasn't too difficult to find and we were able to park right out front. The room was kind of small, but we had no problems during our stay. Even though the place was full, we never had to fight over using the bathroom. It was just what we needed and conveniently close to our sightseeing in the Northern Ireland area. Breakfast was really good and Pat was very welcoming and talked with us throughout the morning.

This location is great and host is very friendly. The room we had was small and on the third floor with narrow stair cases. Luckily we only had one suitcase to get up there. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was good. The was exactly what we needed and very convenient to explore Derry.
