The Manor House

Derry-Londonderry, Derry-Londonderry, BT47 3AA

6.5 Miles from Derry-Londonderry

Meet your host…

Alastair Davidson

Jean and I been welcoming guests into our home since 1993. The manor is a listed, late Georgian property and has been the home of the Davidson family since 1850. It retains many of the original features and family portraits. I have an interest in antiques and restoration. Both Jean and I enjoy gardening and guests can relax and enjoy the attractive grounds that surround our home. A warm welcome awaits you at The Manor House.

Bella casa di campagna di grande fascino. Ottima accoglienza. Buonissima colazione servita con grande gusto. Letti un po’ troppo vecchi e non molto comodi.

Manoir vraiment typique des séries policières anglaises. ! Dépaysement garanti. Très bon petit déjeuner.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Manor House. Alistair & Jean were warm, welcoming, and kindly...and offered a delicious breakfast each morning. My room was very comfortable and just right for this solo traveler. The house itself was/is fascinating and interesting and filled with history. The location was perfect to enjoy the region and then getting to come back to a charming home & village (with good food, drink, shops, many services, etc within walking distance).

My two night tay at the Manor House was just what I needed. You feel instantly at home with the hosts, the home was gorgeous as was my room. The town is charming, good food only a short walk away. The location is ideal for many of Northern Irelands sights and scenery. Breakfast was delicious and full of good conversation. The history of the home was fascinating. I would highly reccomend this.

Not your everyday common B&B. Very large, very old mansion with interesting history. Been in the family of our gracious hosts for a few hundred years. Enjoyed conversation over breakfast. Interesting local pub. If your lucky Wally (a beautiful dog) might come in with his owner.
