The Vandees

Our sta with Noreen and JP was absolutely amazing! It was by far our favorite stay out of our whole trip! From the beginning they were so welcoming and kind. Their home is absolutely stunning! They suggested some amazing places near by to explore and the next morning even wrote down a list so we could make sure we hit all of them on our way back to Dublin! The views were stunning! We spent hours talking over a glass of wine and my husband and we LOVED listening to their stories. Noreen is a phenomenal cook! Our breakfast with them was by far the best out of all of Ireland! Noreen even made us some bread to take on the ride. My husband and I said we need to make another trip to Northern Ireland and Sta longer with them! Noreen and JP thank you for sharing your story with us and opening up your home we enjoyed every second of it! Hope to be back soon!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Vandees BandB. Noreen and John Paul are excellent hosts. They drove us to and from the train station. They gave us excellent recommendations for activities and sightseeing. The house is gorgeous, the bedroom was comfortable with lots of little homey touches. The food- outstanding! This has become our go-to place to stay when in the area.

Noreen and JP were such excellent hosts! They were friendly and welcoming from the communication before our arrival until the final goodbye. They gave us the best recommendations with genuine enthusiasm. And on top of that, there is a beautiful house in a peaceful environment. The room was amazing with lots of nice little touches. And last but not least - the breakfast! ❤️ I couldn't recommend it enough!

Our stay with the Vandees was definitely a highlight of our trip! We were late getting on the road that day and arrived later than we'd hoped, but were warmly greeted by Noreen and JP and even treated to some homemade scones. The Vandees had many excellent recommendations that saved our evening in Belfast, and after a delicious Irish breakfast the next morning, had another action-packed list for our day in Northern Ireland. I so wish we had been able to stay a few more days, as we loved the cozy home and excellent conversation. Thank you, Noreen and JP, for your hospitality and warmth. For everyone else - do yourself a favor and make sure to pass through here!!

Staying at the Vandees was definitely the highlight of our trip to Northern Ireland. Beautiful home and a beautiful and comfortable suite. The hosts are soooo nice and made us feel at home. We enjoyed our conversation with them and they gave us some helpful recommendations of places to see and visit while in NI.
