The Vandees

If you are looking for the perfect B & B place to stay in Armagh county, the Vandee's is the best possible choice you can make. Our hosts, Noreen and John-Paul were helpful in so many ways and without their assistance our trip to the North would have been very dreary and difficult as they helped us so much. The home itself is a "MUST SEE." The structure us a new one but the feeling is that you stepped back in time or perhaps have flown to the future. The lower bathroom a modern work of black jet and white plaster. Our bedroom was very beautiful and the bed comfortable and room warm. My daughter and I enjoyed out stay there and if we return will stay there. Breakfast in a bright cozy room prepared by Noreen, a great chef! Can only advise, if you get into the North, stay there, you will be enchanted by the hosts and the home.

Noreen and Jean Paul were delightful hosts to a very clean, fresh, friendly, nourishing and comfortable stay. The bed could not have been more comfortable! Most memorable stay of our three weeks of staying in BnB’s in Ireland.

Bottom Line Up Front: Do yourself and favor and book a stay at The Vandees. We've been back in the U.S. for about six weeks, so I feel guilty about just now getting around to writing a review. Noreen and JP are two incredibly hospitable people. My wife and I both feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay with them for a few days in late May. While their home is beautiful and their property is tranquil, the reason you should choose to stay here is because of the hosts themselves. They made us fall in love with Northern Ireland. They were enthusiastically interested in what we had planned and provided some input that resulted in experiences we will never forget. As an added bonus, Noreen is an incredible cook who's even willing to share some recipes! If we can get back to NI (which we'd love to do), we'll certainly be spending more time at The Vandees! Unfortunately, we cannot give a score higher than 10.

Mike and I have had a delightful time relaxing in your home. We enjoyed visiting, ‘chatting’ about GOT locations and driving suggestions along the coastal route. I would highly recommend this B&B to everyone. Thank you for sharing your home.

Everything that makes you love Ireland is concentrated here, starting with a warm welcome, kindness and friendly atmosphere. We can only repeat and confirm the many laudatory comments about this lovely place, by far the best B&B experience of our trip in Northern Ireland, unfortunately too short but which will remain in our memories. It was a pleasure to meet Noreen and Jean-Paul, to have enjoyed the beauty and comfort of their house, the delicious breakfast, help and advice about point of interest on our road. Famous hospitality, definitely under the spell. Four friends coming from France.
