Liam was very accommodating though we arrived late, having stopped for dinner because we were told the pub was not available. Our room was very comfortable and looked like it had been nicely decorated recently. Breakfast was delicious and both Mary and Liam were charming to talk with. I recommend the Mountain Inn highly.

First of all-you cannot go to Ireland and skip Sligo. It was our favorite county! Second of all, when you stay there...stay at the Mountain Inn. The family is so friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed Chinese take out at the pub and had fabulous conversation and company with Mary. Their son David gave us a lot of food recommendations as we were arriving near dinner time. Liam was also wonderful company and so welcoming. We stayed out and enjoyed the pub and local patrons until well into the night. We had a wonderful stay. Also, Liam and Mary gave us great information on what to do while in Sligo and we are so glad they did because I enjoyed some of the best hikes with most breathtaking sceneries in my life!
