Deirdre took excellent care of us and the food was excellent. Deirdre makes you feel like you are welcome from the time she opens the door. The room was really nice and furnished well.

The Keenogue House is beautiful, Deirdre took great care to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and plenty of helpful ideas for getting around to see the local attractions. The house is very near to Newgrange, making it really convenient to get to the very popular attraction in time to visit early in the morning and get into Dublin by the afternoon. It was also cute to see her little granddaughter running around the house in the morning and the dogs and the horses! It’s a really charming and comfortable home and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet stay outside of the busy city!

Keenogue House was easy to find, which was nice, since we had been lost several times on this trip. Deirdre welcomed us on arrival and showed us to the room which was large (with 2 huge windows), clean and contained everything a person could want. It had a large en-suite, a flat screen TV, a coffee/tea setup, and clean, comfy beds. We had a very enjoyable stay and a delicious breakfast. Deirdre made us nice strong coffee which was great since other places we stayed served “instant” coffee. Thank you Deirdre for getting the Cadbury’s for me. Definitely a 10!

Very comfortable home and Deirdre was so welcoming. She even made us a reservation at a local restaurant! Nice quiet country setting. Highly recommend!

Deirdre’s home was so clean and so very roomy and comfortable. Situated in farmland, but walking distance to the bus route and easy access to Dublin. The breakfasts were delightful.
