This place was horrible. The picture makes it look like a serene setting. It was taken from across the river. It is on a very busy street. The only thing that makes it a B&b is that it has beds and breakfast. It is a poorly built small hotel. Listing says room has tv. Ours had a place to plug one in but no tv. Listing says it has Wi-Fi. We had no access in our room. You had to go to a common room. Heat didn’t work. I asked how to turn it on and was told that it was off in the building. Came on the day we left. Door knobs going into the rooms were poor quality locks like on house interior. You could easily open any room with a screwdriver. Breakfast was good. Some staff tried hard. Others were indifferent. Do not stay there

Ce n'est pas un B&B c'est un motel bas de gamme, très vieux et beaucoup trop dispendieux pour ce que l'ont recoit comme service, je ne recommande pas.

Just to thank Mary for the hospitality and kindness last week in your very nice guesthouse. Your smile, your good French language and your desire to exchange charmed us. Killarney is just à good destination and start to visit this country. Be careful and take care of your eyes. Kind regards. Louis-Marie and Claudia The Frenches of Le Mans

I love Killarney and the location was a nice walk into the city. Our room had a lovely view of the river. The morning sunrise was very pretty. Breakfast was very good. I had pancakes and they were amazing! The staff was very friendly and did an excellent job. The hostess was wonderfully sweet. She taught us about Bloom’s Day, which happened to be on my husband’s birthday. It was fun talking with her. She introduced us to a regular guest also from the states. It was fun to make connections with other guests. The building feels like a hotel rather than the typical B&B home setting. This didn’t matter to us, we prefer the location and the people. The room was simple, and the beds and furnishings were clean and we slept like babies!

Unfortunately, this was the worst B & B we’ve stayed in from our recent holiday. First, this is more like a motel and not your typical B & B. Neda was very nice but that would not make me recommend this place to anyone. Rooms were outdated, bed was uncomfortable and there were no amenities- just two towels. No WiFi connection until your in the dinning room are and it was slow at best. The other thing that did not sit well with me was that they forgot to ask for my CIE voucher(I forget too) and we left in the morning, we received a call from them stating they need my voucher after we were about 30 minutes away. The lady told me it was my fault and that I should’ve given them the voucher. I told her when we checked in, they should have asked for it just like when you check into any other place you stay, they want your payment information upon arrival. Needless to say I would never stay there again or recommend it.

I recall these guests, who stayed , in rooms 4 and 9 Re Broadband -it seems to be satisfactory, for our guests, and for ourselves, who work in the same space Re Vouchers, I recall a different conversation When we discovered, that we did not have their vouchers, I called them, and asked them, if they were still in the area The responsibility was a shared one , and I certainly did not , and would not , blame them A short time later, they dropped the vouchers in the letterbox To me, it was a non issue on the day, and I am sorry, that they were upset, and were not happy , with our facilities Thanks, Mary
